Venezuelan visual artist currently living and working in Toronto. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of the cultural impact of the social crisis in his native country.
In his paintings, he creates visual narratives that combine real and fantastic elements. He uses found images of people and places in Venezuela that he recreates to construct scenes charged with symbolism. In these compositions, giants, theatrical atmospheres and dreamlike characters coexist, which serve as metaphors to address themes such as oppression, resilience and the struggle for power.
