Her work, which oscillates between the analog and the digital, explores the relationship between the present, decay and constant reconstruction through saturated and defragmented images that juxtapose people, spaces and social phenomena. These dreamlike and metadiscursive atmospheres are constructed through digital manipulation, creating realities that question the univocal vision of reality.
Inspired by aesthetics such as vaporwave, cyberpunk and theories on post-humanity, Garza proposes a space that she calls "meta figurative", where the abstract and the figurative meet in a complex balance. Through multiple disciplines, her work invites us to reflect on the contemporary perception of the physical and virtual landscape.
Her work has been selected in various national and international competitions such as: XIX Tamayo Biennial, National Meeting of Young Art; Corrientes Nuevos Medios; Tlaxcala Visual Arts Award; Yucatan Biennial, among others. She has had exhibitions at Abiogenesis (Querétaro, 2024), Daniela Elbahara Gallery (CDMX, 2022) and Untitled Art Fair (Miami, 2023). She has murals at Hotel Me Cabo (Woman is Art, 2023, and Hotel El Ganzo (Untitled, 2021).
She lives and works in Mexico City.
