Irene Dubrovsky also works on creating installations that combine visual and sound pieces based on maps of the cosmos, using the position of the stars as a musical score. These pieces, "Star Discs," have been presented at contemporary art centers in Mexico, such as the Laboratorio de Arte Alameda and the Celda Contemporánea del Claustro de Sor Juana, among others.
She has had numerous exhibitions around the world, including the Curitiba Biennial in Brazil, the Centre Pere Prune in Barcelona, the Havana Biennial where she presented her installations "North Pole, South Pole," the Museum of Textile Art in London, and the Egyptian Palace in Lisbon, where she presented the exhibition "Maps of Otherness." She has exhibited her work numerous times in Asia over the past decade, in galleries and art fairs in Indonesia, Korea, and Hong Kong, among others.
