Solo show Francisco Esnayra
Who would have conceived this grandiose illusion of stony volumes and spaces that always seem endless? What is the reason for this blinding luminosity that surrounds it everywhere like a halo of splendor? Who would have dared to draw the ethereal and unshakeable perspectives that weave and plot it like a radiant and perfect crime, suddenly committed; in the form of a flight of unexpected towers, of rhythmic colonnades arranged according to modules that simultaneously challenge and flatter the possibilities of reason? (Salvador Elizondo, 1968: 26)

Francisco Esnayra plays with representation and space, using optical effects to construct a universe in which matter, transmuted into a portal, allows the viewer to experience an out-of-body experience. His work is a reflection of the chaos that inhabits us.
Through psychophysiological explorations, Esnayra creates metamorphic figures that evoke a dynamic and challenging visual experience; blurring the boundaries of perception, he generates a "free space" in which he forces the viewer to establish order—spatial and emotional—in the face of movements seemingly beyond their control, thus inducing an altered state of consciousness.
His pieces are astonishing sculptural trompe l'oeils that manifest themselves by projecting themselves as an omniscient perspective item, unleashing a series of perceptual inductions that question the mind-body-spirit relationship through a play of psychological tensions that transform the viewer into observer-observed, thus giving them the ability to analyze themselves from otherness.
