Their work portrays the multiple adversities facing the region amidst accelerated globalization. Latin American historical memory is consolidated in their techniques and colors.

Vanessa Freitag

Vanessa Freitag is an artist whose research and practice explore the language of textiles and their possibilities—sewing, crochet, and embroidery—for the creation of sensorial objects that occupy space, and sometimes the body, constructing their imagined universe. Through photography and photo-performance, her textile objects visualize the process of metamorphosis between creator and creatures.

Francisco Esnayra
