For his work, he has received the following awards and recognitions: Selection for residency at Zebra3, Bordeaux, France, 2016; Selection for the 12th National Meeting of Young Art, Aguascalientes, 1992; First Place in sculpture with "Criatura 2005," concrete and metal, 6th University Biennial, Baja California Sur, 2000; Acquisition Award for the Northwest Sculpture Biennial, 2007; Selection for the 9th Monterrey Biennial, Femsa, 2009; and Selection for the book "From Creativity to Innovation: Mexican Design," 2011, among others.
